3/29/19 - Well Here We Are
At this point no one should ever be surprised when I change my website. I saw this site scrolling through instagram and I decided to give this a go since I decided to trash my site on wix. They never really seemed to satisfy me but this one is going to here for a while. Speaking of satisfaction, lately I've been really happy with the way this year started off. Jump started my curation/installation for the very first Black History Month show at Arts on Granda
and that was such an experience that I will forever be grateful for. Connecting and creating for Linda and Larry was honestly a blessing because they have really taken me as one of their own and their everlasting support will remain foreverrrrr. The opening night was a huge success and the overall month for the exhibit was an even greater one for them, the gallery, and myself.
What I've been learning about myself this year so far that there will be very few people in your life who will come into it and actually make you feel fulfilled. When I started my new job I was NOT thinking about new friends in the workplace then that changed. I met my dear friends Aaliyah, Cierra, and Amia. These three have really instilled some self lessons in me. They do not hold back and are (honestly) holding back from slapping me whenever they hear me complaining and that is something you rarely find from friends. Shout out to Cierra for starting her new MUA business http://instagram.com/shanolabeautymua
With new friends you can't forget the ride or dies! Lyndsay who is my eternal muse (no one will ever steal that title) is now a MOTHER!!
I felt honored being one the very people she told and getting her little updates from ultra sound pics, to doing her maternity shoot, attending a baby shower, and then BOOM... a beautiful baby girl named Kenzo (who will be modeling for KENZO editorials in the future). She is blessed to have such hardworking, ambitious, and universally loving parents such Lyndsay and Reggie. Along with that little bundle of emotion, catching up with my litty ass good friend Amanda is always a pleasure. The little time I get to spend with her always feels like an eternity when she leaves because each time is always a forever memory. We have grown as friends to know so much about each other and we're always on each others minds. Love you foreverrrrr Panda. NOW ABOUT ME ...
I am very happy with the accomplishments I made this year so far. Working and producing quality shoots, getting published in Vogue Italia, and being paid for my craft a littleeeeee more consistently is something I never expected to so quick and I know these things may be small to some but they are big to me and very personal. It has really given me the confidence I need for this NY move... We'll talk more on that later, LET ME GET THERE FIRST.
Anywho... go create something new- Tre Crews
